Warriors Membership Reaches Milestone

On the back of back to back successful seasons and the exciting development players coming through the club, the Warriors club membership has reached a significant milestone. For the first time ever, Warriors membership has surpassed 10,000.

Warriors Press Release:
The Vodafone Warriors’ 2012 membership boom has gone to a new level after passing the 10,000 milestone. The total membership base, now sitting at 10,800, is made up of 6,500 12-game ticketed members, 1300 current away members (a new offering this season) and more than 3000 corporate members. The figures represent a 27 per cent increase in ticketed membership on 2011’s numbers and growth of more than 50 per cent in total membership.

“We’re delighted with the huge growth we’ve seen in our membership numbers,” said Vodafone Warriors chief executive Wayne Scurrah. “The increase has followed on from the history the club made with three teams in last year’s grand finals, the excitement and expectations for the 2012 campaign and our focus and commitment to enhancing our membership programme over the last few seasons.” Although the season is now four rounds in, new members continue to sign up to reap the benefits available through various membership options. “Membership is the best way to show your support and commitment to Vodafone Warriors,” said Scurrah.

Becoming a Vodafone Warriors member is the most direct way for committed supporters to influence the club’s success. The benefits are numerous, including a significant discount on gate prices, a priority purchasing period for grand final tickets and a reserved seat for all regular season home games.

There’s still time to become a 2012 member; with nine home games remaining, members can still save on gate prices. Vodafone Warriors fans outside Auckland and in Australia can also be part of the club with the new Warriors Proud membership which allows fans who can’t make it to the game to show their support for their club throughout the season with a package offering exclusive benefits. “We’d urge all fans to enjoy the experience of becoming a Vodafone Warriors member,” said Scurrah. “We like our fans, but we love our members.”

Thank you to all Members for your loyal support and contributing to this fantastic growth!
